From the Principal’s Desk

   Congratulations to the class of 2008.   We are proud of your accomplishments here at St. Martin School.  May you continue your life’s journey with God as your companion. Graduation will be held June 5, at 7:30 p.m.

   On May 12, St. Martin of Tours celebrated the Blessed Mother with a traditional May Crowning.  All students in the school participated by bringing flowers, praying and honoring Mary. Our eighth graders were the honor guard and Olivia L.

had the honor of crowning Mary.  The attendants were Monica S. and Megan W.

   On June 2, 7:00 p.m. our kindergarten students will entertain their parents with songs and activities that demonstrate their many talents.

   Throughout this school year we have received support from many people.  Many gave of their time by chairing or helping with fundraisers, chaperoning fieldtrips, or serving in the cafeteria.  Many gave of their support by buying our candy bars, magazines, working at the bingo, etc.  We thank you for the many hours of service.

   In just a few days our school halls will be silent as the school students begin their summer vacation.  We pray that they all have a safe and happy summer.

Prayer for Our Children

Jesus, you asked for the little children to be brought to you:

so we bring our children to you in prayer.

We ask you to Bless them to make them strong and healthy.

Fill them with your grace and with your love.

Stay with them as they grow to maturity and help them to learn the virtues of

kindness, humility, peace, patience, love, wisdom, and understanding.

May we as their parents and teachers be good examples for them;

Let their friendships be good and valuable;

let their knowledge and love for you continue to grow day by day.

Grant them a happy life-now, and in eternity.  Amen.
